Are you a domain specialist skilled in Inpatient Coding, Inpatient Records, ICD-10, CIC? RemoteJob Staffing is seeking a remote Remote Certified Inpatient Coder — LLM Alignment & Research ($50 - $70/hour) to help train and validate frontier AI systems through structured problem authoring, rubric design, and analytical output auditing from anywhere in the US, UK, Canada, or Australia.

Day-to-Day Impact

• Validate MS-DRG assignment, including identification of CCs and MCCs, and flag hospital-acquired conditions (HACs) and patient safety indicators.
• Assess and benchmark model-generated clinical notes and summaries against real-world documentation and coding standards.
• Code model-generated diagnostic and procedural information from the record using ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS classification systems.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in diagnosis and procedure coding, ensuring the integrity of record abstraction and data capture.
• Supply detailed, transparent written feedback on coding errors and complex cases to improve model performance.
• Demonstrated professional or academic background in Inpatient Coding, Inpatient Records, ICD-10, CIC, CPC, AAPC.
• Strong analytical reasoning and ability to articulate complex concepts clearly in written English.

Essential Background & Expertise

• Access to up-to-date official ICD-10-CM/PCS coding books and Coding Clinic guidance.
• Currently working in inpatient medical coding, clinical documentation improvement, or a closely related documentation role.
• Availability of at least 10 hours per week.
• Compensation Band: $50 - $70/hour
• Work Location: Remote (100% Remote / Asynchronous Flexibility)
