Remote Legal & Compliance Expert — LLM Alignment & Research

If you possess extensive experience in Turning Real Legal Work Into a Defined Task, Contract and Document Review, Compliance, Legal, this project provides a rare opportunity to consult on sophisticated domain architectures. You will establish the factual ground truth that guides enterprise-grade automated systems.

Key Deliverables & Responsibilities

• Create or source the supporting materials each task needs: agreements, policy documents, regulatory texts, diligence files.
• Flag tasks that turn out to be ambiguous or ungradable instead of submitting them anyway.
• Deliver approved tasks on schedule and at the required quality level.
• 5+ years of hands-on responsibility in contract review, due diligence, regulatory compliance, or risk — direct ownership of the work, not supervisory-only or adjacent exposure.
• Experience creating or applying structured review standards: review checklists, diligence protocols, compliance frameworks, playbooks, or training assessments.
• Design multi-step tasks drawn from real legal and compliance work — contract review, due diligence, regulatory assessment, risk analysis — with realistic reference files and clear instructions.
• Define objective grading criteria so two qualified reviewers would reach the same verdict on the same output.

• Law degree and bar admission, or equivalent compliance qualification, is a plus but not required — practitioner experience is what matters.
• Strong English, written and spoken — B2 minimum, C1 preferred.

Engagement Terms & Compensation

• Compensation Rate: $45 - $90/hour (verified contractor remuneration)
